I know you may be thinking not another piece of video software, because that is exactly what I thought until I went a watched the demo videos and I was hooked!
I made this little promo video in about 20 minutes
Now, obliviously this is just a fun little promo video that I whipped up while I was testing out the software and the voice over is just me rattling off while I tested the built in audio recorder, which is great BTW. You can record the audio as you watch the video play. Much easier than other platforms I've used.
The longest part of the process is when I went and grabbed some stock footage and audio from Archive.org I pulled it in to Windows Movie Maker (free on most PC's) and split it up. There are other ways to do that but that was easiest for me. Then all I had to do was pull the clips into the slides I wanted to use it on and walla!
Here are a few things that caught my attention:
- The low one time price include a commercial license so you can make videos for offline clients ( this only lasts for a day or two)
- Animation templates & graphics are included (like VideoMaker FX)
- Music is included and you can record voice overs right in the software.
- The Whiteboard "Sketch" is very easy.
- Both animation and sketch can be done OVER full motion video backgrounds with sound, which is a huge advantage over VideoMaker FX.
- You can import slides, SVG images and elements from VideoMaker FX, Easy Sketch and others for even more power!
